Sugestion.No use black in your face´s drawing. The black is bad. Use Van Dik Brown and using retoque black in final paint.Your face´s drawing will make frescor.HUGS and Sorry

These are regular pastels. Yes you should get several different shades of flesh colors. It is almost impossible to mix your own. Make sure you get a nice range from very light, to very dark.

it's great. i know nothing about pastels (they aren't oil pastels, right?), but i recently bought a box of primary/secondary colors. i was wondering how to do skin color, but it seems like i should buy a few "skin" colors, instead of trying to mix. they're regular hard-type pastels, right? not the oil kind?
